Summary: Chris realized he was gay early in his life, but an Argent male simply wasn't allowed to do anything but marry and produce more hunters and those to lead them.

Summary: Peter Hale has known from childhood that he's gay, but as he grows older the wolf inside him starts craving a female mate and cubs. It takes him nearly a decade to accept this side of himself and the fact that the wolf and man are one, tied by the lunar cycle. So, he will make this work and make himself whole and happy.

Speaking of, my go to fanon for Peter is that he had a mate named Marta and a cub named Gracie. I've used it as back story several times. Angelina has also made an appearance though changed a bit here. And the name of Stiles' mom is also my own fanon. This is my first Queer Fest entry ever and I hope I didn't screw it up. I was immediately drawn to the prompt knowing it would be Peter and his wolf would be heterosexual, driving him to take a female mate and have cubs, while he in fact is gay. There's also a tiny mention of Derek/Stiles, though it's just Peter's opinion.
