Queer Fest is a fest for fanfic that focuses on the experience of being queer. The fest is open to any fandom and character, whether the character is canonically queer or not. Posting to the community is open only to mod posts or stories. Off topic posts, including advertising communities or queer issue posts are not welcome.
This fest was started due to the unfortunate end of lgbtfest. This is a fest for stories that deal with the experience of being queer. For the purpose of this fest, that includes stories about lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, genderqueer, asexual, intersex, and trans* characters.
For 2011 and 2012, posting was hosted on Livejournal. The 2013 round will be hosted on Dreamwidth. Previous stories may be found on the LJ community or on the 2011 AO3 collection, 2011 Amnesty AO3 collection or 2012 AO3 collections.

Prompt claiming: April 1 to April 15
Posting begins: May 15
